The 2024 Wairarapa Balloon Festival is the must-see family fun event of the year, taking place over Easter, from 14th –18th April.

 

Be sure to welcome the 12-strong Hot Air Balloons during this 5 day Wairarapa wide event, with balloonist competitions, joyful and vibran sky high displays from the balloons.

View the balloons from the comfort of you home. Sorry due to Covid restriction we will not be able to allow public at takeoff sites. We will advise each morning what direction the balloons may take so you can see the joyful display in our sky's of the balloons.

Pilots and their balloons will take off for the last time in the festival’s finale flight.
