The daily ascensions will be held at different locations around Wairarapa. Full programme to be announced early 2024.
TRAVELLING FROM THE NORTH
From the outskirts of Palmerston North either take the Saddle Road to connect with Woodville, or the Pahiatua Track to Pahiatua. From Woodville/Pahiatua travel south on State Highway 2 towards Carterton.
It takes approximately 1.5 hours from Palmerston North, and 2.5 hours from Napier by car.
TRAVELLING FROM WELLINGTON
It takes approximately 1.5 hours by car from Wellington CBD.
There is also a daily train service to and from Wellington, with the closest stops being Carterton or Masterton Railway Stations. A bus stop is located at the intersection of Chester Road and SH2 only walking distance from the grounds. Check the timetable well in advance, as public holiday weekends can affect the service.
